Forest Direct Ltd has bolstered its team of experts with the addition of Operations Manager Alfie Allingham.

Alfie joined the team at the beginning of July, focusing on the agricultural community to support the introduction of more trees on farms across the South of Scotland and North of England.

Alfie’s passion for agriculture and forestry started at a young age. He spent his early career on beef and sheep units in New Zealand before studying Agriculture and Farm Management at the Royal Agricultural College.

Alfie launched his own consultancy business in 2013, providing arboricultural and forestry support to the farming sector; gradually transitioning the company to focus on biomass, site development and ground preparation before selling it in 2018 and moving back to New Zealand to pursue his consultancy career.
